About DAVID KEMLER
David began his career in early 1970 in stage production. He worked with celebrity names such as Don Knots, now Broadway star, Liz Larsen, Yvonne Decarlo, Pat Carroll, Mercedes McCambrige, Johnathon Daly, Harrison Page and Penny Larsen, now touring with The Wedding Singer. Later he began working as a talent agent, booking regional and national acts such as Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners, Chef Tel and for three years he was the exclusive agent for Al Alberts and The Original Four Aces.

In late 1970 David became business manager for CASTAP, LTD (Consolidated American Stage Technicians and Allied Professions). After two years he joined ENCORA PRODUCTIONS, INC, and became CEO of the Entertainment Corporation of America or ENCORA. David conceived and produced numerous North Eastern tours of live stage productions under ENCORA's banner. It was in that capacity that David became associated with BOB EUBANKS and his live Newlywed Game. David's first Newlywed Game show was in August of 1979 and he continued working with Mr. Eubanks through the mid 90's. Fifteen years all total. Ten of those years were non-stop touring with Bob Eubanks and his LIVE Newlywed Game production. The show played live in 675 cities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
David's work with Bob wasn't confined to only The Newlywed Game. David worked with him on other entertainment projects such as The Bob Eubanks Game and Give-A-Way show at Resorts International Hotel Casino and Harrah's Marina Hotel Casino and a television infomercial for International Introductions, just to name a few. At the same time, David continued to work with other talent such as the first Annie, Andrea Macardle , award winning Broadway dance star, Gary Flannery and film and stage actress and the voice of the "devil" in the Excorsist, Mercedes McCambridge.
In 1989, David came off the touring-road and concentrated on only booking Mr. Eubanks nationwide. In addition to his resposibilties representing Bob, he also took on the task of Personal Manager for actress and singer, Sue Thomas. After a few years, David left both positions to take the reigns as producer and director of Tampa Bay's new TV show designed for the local market, It's A Beautiful Home with Tony Marsh. After three seasons on the air, David decided to leave the series and retire from the entertainment industry so that he could spend more time with his family and enjoy the fun and sun of Florida.
Through the years, David kept in touch with Mr. Eubanks as he continued working privately as a Career Consultant for talent. When Bob's new book, It's In The Book...Bob! was released, David picked up a copy and was surprised to find that Bob had briefly mentioned him in his book. David called Bob to thank him and after a very short while David booked Bob for a live Newlywed Game for Ye Mystic Krewe of Neptune, where at the time, one of his best friends, Jrff Bulson was "King". The show was a tremendous success and once again David began respresenting his friend of many years, Bob Eubanks.
As a side note, in the mid nineties, David began representing talent as their Personal Manager. At present in addition to his agent responsibilities to Mr. Eubanks, David is proud to have represented film actor, Ronald Farnham. David also offers his advice and guidance to new and established actors via Retainer Agreement. Actor Thomas Noel Smith and stage actor Steve Banks from Atlanta is David's newest addition under Retainer. David has many clients who he advises and consults who are on a "as needed" basis and who do not fall into any signed category.
What's new for David? Currently he will be working closely with Broadway dance star Gary Flannery (Pippin, Dancin, All That Jazz) producing his lateset stage production of 'George'. Also, David is hosting an original music weekly podacst, New Music Tampa Bay and hosting an Entertainment News and Celebrity Gossip segment on WTAN 1340 AM radio for Entertainment and the Arts called This Business of Entertainment.
